SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT
We are delighted to announce that Dr Iain Ross AO will be a keynote speaker at the NAEN2024 National Conference in Adelaide.
Dr Ross, along with Ms Lisa Paul, are currently undertaking the strategic review of the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive System – a review that is expected to fundamentally reshape key elements of the apprenticeship sector. This will be an important opportunity to hear first-hand from one of the key figures overseeing the future of apprenticeships.
Dr Ross was also recently appointed by the Commonwealth to the position of Acting Chair of the Net Zero Economy Agency (NZEA), pending legislation to make the role permanent.
Dr Ross previously served as a judge of the Federal Court of Australia and as President of the Australian Fair Work Commission, formerly Fair Work Australia. Prior to this, he was a judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Assistant Secretary of the ACTU, and Vice President of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission.
